Purchasing your e-tickets on this site, grants the holder use of the e-ticket pre-paid gate at Dreamworld. Your e-ticket will be valid for 12 months. If you leave the purchase of tickets until you arrive at Dreamworld, then you will be in long, long queues, especially if the Wiggles are there.  

All rides, shows and attractions, are covered by the entry price. But not skill games, FlowRider, helicopter rides, souvenir photographs, merchandise, drinks and food. Dreamworld does not guarantee the availability of rides and attractions.

Dreamworld - What a wonderful and interesting place to take your family. Something for everyone! Littlies love The Wiggles World.

(I do too and I'm in my fifties.) Although, my 6 year old nephew was very disappointed that the actual Wiggles group were not there. So make sure that your littlies know that they will only see the Wiggles friends - Wags the dog, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, and Captain Feathersword. Except in the school holidays or other advertised days. Unable to believe that the Wiggles were not there, my nephew went over to the Wiggles "Fun Shop" building to knock on the side door and tell them to come out NOW. He had noticed the Wiggles friends entering this area after photograph sessions. I tried telling him that The Wiggles were away in another town doing a show, but no, he was sure they were there somewhere, so he spent most of the time looking for them. Hence he lost the full enjoyment of some great entertainment, and I didn't enjoy my time as much as I could have.

But when we hopped in the big red car, he thoroughly enjoyed the ride through the Wiggles rooms. I won't tell you what we saw or that will ruin it for you. Not knowing what to expect is half the fun. And we did have fun! Although, my nephew insisted that the Wiggles had to be behind one of the doors that we passed.

THE TRAIN RIDE
We all climbed aboard the train for a journey around the stations, dropping off passengers and collecting more. It can be a bit boring for older kids who are anxious to get onto the fast rides so my suggestion would be to get them icecreams or cold drinks first from the Icecream shop near the railway station. Unfortunately, you cannot take food or drinks into Dreamworld, so save your 'pennies' for what can be an expensive day out. The train leaves regularly throughout the day, but just check times on the timetable board or ask the conductor.

THE PADDLE BOAT RIDE
While my 8 year old nephew and husband waited in a long, long queue for the fast motorbike ride, the 6 yr old and I hopped on board Captain Sturt's paddle boat. I feel a bit silly saying that I didn't realise that it would actually move.

(Well, Captain Feathersword's boat was stable) But all of a sudden Captain Sturt's boat did move. So off we went on what turned out to be a very pleasant 30 minute cruise with wonderful Australian songs serenading us. It was like a breath of fresh air after feeling so hot walking around. Of course, we visited Dreamworld on one of the hottest days going!

Please make sure that you have hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses to make your day more comfortable - (Unlike me, do not leave your sunglasses in the rest rooms. I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful person hand them into the information centre, so thank you whoever you were.) The boat leaves regularly throughout the day, but just check times on the timetable board or ask one of the friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the kids became tired, hot and cranky after lunch, and I was feeling much the same way, so we left before visiting Nickelodeon Central, Tiger Island, The Australian Wildlife Experience, Big Brother and The FlowRider. Still, when we return, we will visit those first.
