Wycliffe Well Holiday Caravan Park is about 380klms north of Alice Springs and 133klms south of Tennant Creek. It is like an oasis in the desert, especially in summer. It is a very unusual and interesting place with the theme of Aliens and apparently, in 5th place as having the most UFO activity in the world.

Up to 60 shady and some grassed and gravel powered sites are on offer to the guests, along with 200 non powered camping spots. There is a large variety of on-site accommodation including on-site vans. The total fleet of on-site accommodation tops 25 with more as options in the near future.

Wycliffe Well is only a few minutes drive to one of the Northern Territory’s most renowned attractions, the Devil's Marbles Conservation Reserve. In the park, there is also an auditorium, bar, a large fishing/crabbing lake, an animal sanctuary, restaurant and stage with an Aboriginal performance theme. Wycliffe Well specialises in having the largest commercial range of beers in Australia. Locally made Aboriginal artifacts and paintings are available from the Souvenir Shop.

You can read the newspaper clippings inside the store, where you can enjoy a refreshing cold drink and a good chinese meal or steak. A friendly chinese couple work the kitchen and restaurant and a helpful, cheerful couple manage the park.

During the peak season, from April to November, they entertain you with train rides around the lake and park in their passenger carrying locomotive, which is an ex-sugar cane train from Victoria. There is also an animal sanctuary with emus, rabbits, and a variety of birds for the kids to enjoy. Around the park are statues of super heroes - the Phantom, the Hulk, and even Elvis Presley. The murals on the walls of the buildings are amazing and so well done, especially the paintings of the aliens.

The 300 seat Auditorium consists of a bar, restaurant and stage where meals are served while a floor show takes place. The structure is built in such a way that the beautiful star filled sky is visible while dining. Count the shooting stars or watch for the alien ships.
