(1) Cattle Farm & Wildlife Safari

Get up close and personal with animals in the wild, swim and raft. Tickle 1000 kg bulls on an 8000 acre cattle station on dirt tracks, back tracks and no tracks at all! As seen on MTV's new Jackass series 'Wildboyz' with Steve O, this adventure is also highly recommended by Lonely Planet and is fully guided by Dave. The tour also includes a bonus free entry into the Capricorn Caves or Koorana Crocodile Farm.

Tour departs 10 a.m. and returns 5 p.m. with 7 people maximum daily.

(2) Styx River Encounter

You'll witness this spectacular full moon occurrence, and that is just the beginning on this amazing trip. Explore an outback ghost town, see a tidal bore, boomerangs, nature, experience wildlife and hiking.This adventure is also highly recommended by Lonely Planet and is fully guided by Dave.

Capricorn Caverns

These ancient caves honeycomb a limestone ridge and offer a natural beauty different to that of deep underground caves. Most tours are conducted by experienced guides through large well-lit caverns with beautiful stalactites, rare ferns, massive tree roots and featuring small bats. For those who enjoy adventure, squeeze through small tunnels, chimney up shafts and enjoy panoramic views. Capricorn Caverns enjoys advanced ecotourism accreditation and has won awards for landcare, business and tourism.

Cathedral Tours are conducted daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bookings are essential for adventure tours and abseiling. Discount rates are available for groups over 20 people.

Bat Cleft

Bat Cleft is a cave in Mt. Etna Caves National Park where you can experience the rush of thousands of tiny bent-wing bats flying past you at dusk. This three hour guided tour is on a steep track, suitable for fit people.

Tours from 6 December to mid-February on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings (minimum booking numbers apply).

Koorana Crocodile Farm

See a croc that weighs over 3/4 tonne, watch baby crocs hatch, hold and feel a croc. Established in 1981, Koorana was the first private crocodile farm in Queensland.

Dreamtime Cultural Centre

Experience Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Set in 30 acres of natural bush, Dreamtime is Australia's largest Aboriginal Cultural Centre.

Rockhampton Heritage Village

Experience the rich and colourful history of the district in this unique recreation of original buildings, homesteads and businesses . Guided tours are available from Monday to Friday.

Capricorn Coast Trail Rides

Explore scenic ironbark ranges and grass tree forests on quiet horses. 1, 2 and 3 hour and day long trail rides are available 7 days a week.

Capricorn Reef Diving

Snorkel and dive on the Great Barrier Reef with a choice of 40 dive locations. No experience necessary for scuba diving. Day trips are also provided round the Keppel Isles.

Great Keppel Island Cruises

Capricorn Coast Coffee Plantation
