Adelaide is located on the Torrens River and is surrounded to the east by the Mt Lofty Ranges and to the west by the Gulf St Vincent. it prides itself on its historic building heritage, live music and arts, and its central location to one of Australia's best known wine growing regions, the Barossa Valley.

Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island and is located west of Cape Jervis at the tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula and is approximately 105 kilometres (65.6 miles) from Adelaide.

Kangaroo Island is mosly native vegetation and a quarter of it is conserved in National Parks, Conservation Parks, and it has five Wilderness Protection Areas. The main protected areas are Ravine des Casoars Wilderness Protection Area, Flinders Chase National Park, Cape Gantheaume Wilderness Protection Area, Seal Bay Conservation Park, Cape Bouguer Wilderness Protection Area. Kangaroo Island has amazing native wildlife. In Adelaide, you will find something for everyone to enjoy.

Shopping Hours
Trading hours are usually Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. There's late night shopping in Adelaide suburban stores every Thursday until 9pm and at Adelaide city stores every Friday until 9pm. Trading hours on public holidays could be limited. Trading hours vary in country areas, with many larger stores opened extensively, seven days a week.
